Our Story
Now both daughters have moved out, Gaye and John are able to share their wonderful space with people who appreciate areas of outstanding natural beauty. With countryside walks, cycling/mountain biking routes, beautiful views and relaxation in one of the most picturesque areas of North Wales all on its doorstep, Caban Eric is the perfect getaway. Gaye and John have worked very hard over the past 18 months to make Caban Eric and its surroundings charming for people to enjoy.
Lockdown did grant them a bit more time at home to put towards this, Gaye as a self-employed gardener and John as a footpath inspector, meant they were able to put their skills to good use and refine the woodland and cabin surroundings. Unfortunately, Gaye lost her Dad, Eric in the middle of the pandemic in December 2020, so Caban Eric was named in memory of him. Eric was a wise man and appreciated the simple things in life - good company, good wine & good health, so if you agree, please make sure as guests you raise a glass, to Eric!
